Relationship Specialist
This covers so much territory because relationships are everywhere and are the essential fabric of our lives. Most people come to therapy, or in this case, coaching, because there is a broken relationship. The 3 core relationship banners are; Myself, Others, and God. But there are more. We have relationships with work, material things, our past, our future, our pets, our hopes, our beliefs.. .you get the point. I have a relationship with my computer and this website. I have feelings about it and I have hopes and dreams. I want things from it.
We way we relate to the world directly relates to our quality of life. If we want to be healthy, happy, and fulfilled, we must learn how to manage our relational selves.
So Rob, how do we learn how to do this?
Well, I’m glad you asked.
I like to use story work. In order to know how to tackle your relational hiccups, we need to know what causes them. And all of our “relational hiccups” develop in our childhood. So, we take a little journey back in time and unpack some of these “stories of impact”; stories that have left a lasting impression on you and influence your behavior an decisions to this day. Once acknowledged, we can begin to heal and learn new behaviors.
In committed relationships the process is done with both partners. This can result in amazing connection and deep intimacy.

Where do I find value?
Why do I not feel anything?
Why can’t I stop?
Why do I need everyone to like me?
Why do I say yes all the time?
Why do I let my mom speak to me like that?
Why do I have a hard time talking about my feelings?
Why does my wife say I’m distant?
