When Jesus tells the story of the talents in Matthew 25, he speaks of three servants. Each servant was given a talent by their master. One 5, another 2, and a third was given 1 talent; each based on their abilities. Then the master went away.

Each servant handles their situation differently. 2 of the servants, the one with 5 and the one with 2, went out and doubled what they had been given, receiving praise from their master. The third servant was afraid and buried his talent in the sand. When his master returned, he chastised the servant with one talent and “cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness.”

The work of personal brand development is not about you at all. It’s about God and who he has made you to be!
