How high can you go?

Are you made for greatness? Seriously…. when you consider your life, if you consider your life, what do you want to see when you look back? What’s your front porch rocking chair story? I believe we all think about this at some point in our lives, and most of us give up. Life get’s hard. We make poor choices. We end up with responsibilities and obligations. We stop climbing and pushing and dreaming and we start “just getting by”.

I’ve been there. It sucks.

When I was there I found myself angry, fighting, pushing, and struggling. I wanted to make my way out. The Lord called me to sit with him. I learned a lot during this season. I learned about trust and rest and waiting. I also learned that God will guide me. And he will guide you. But, you must learn to listen. For most of us, this is the hard part. This is about learning to trust God’s performance, and our lack of performance. Over and over again in scripture, God is calling people to most into places they don’t want to go. He calls them to trust him. They say they don’t want to go, and yet, they go. This is the type of performance we are talking about. How to follow Christ. How to die to yourself and believe in what he is leading you to do.

This requires trust. And you can not rest without trust. If you want to learn more about this, then let’s do it.
